Cast Drawings/Slater Museum

I have just begun this drawing of Dionysis from the Parthenon. I will post progress on it as it develops.

I thought I would start by showing some cast drawings I have done at the Slater Memorial Museum in Norwich, CT over the last ten years. The museum houses about 160 plaster casts, all created from the original sculptures in the 19th century. The bottom one is actually my first cast drawing, done in Ohio. The rest of the above were drawn at the Slater.

  1. How about this for a design for a wall painting, in the tried-and-true Art Nouveau style?: http://EN.WahooArt.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-8BWN3L, by the famous English artist, Audrey Beardsley himself. You can also order a canvas print of the picture from wahooart.com.
